What's new for the latest Ford Ranger model year?
Not too much is changing with the Ford Ranger this year, but the changes that have been made are significant.
Perhaps the most impactful change coming to the new Ford Ranger is its Tremor Off-Road Package. Featuring off-road tuned FOX™ 2.0 monotube dampers, 32-inch Continental General Grabber™ all-terrain tires, and even a six-switch auxiliary power pack to control off-road gear like winches, compressors, lights, and much more, the new Ford Ranger Tremor will afford you the capability you need to tackle travel off the beaten path.
On top of that, the new Ford Ranger will come with more options on its entry level Ford Ranger XL trim, including dual-zone climate control and an upgraded SYNC® 3 infotainment system.
Is a Ford Ranger Lightning on the horizon?
While it's not in our lineup now, there are rumors circulating that a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or all-electric Ford Ranger may be on the horizon. With the advent of the Ford F-150 Lightning, the paradigm is shifting for the electric truck market. For updates on its release, make sure to watch out for updates from the team here at Harding Ford.
